How does online speech therapy work?

Our process starts with your initial consultation with one of our experienced speech-language pathologists. Based on your concerns, we match you with your therapist and schedule your initial evaluation. You will meet with your therapist via a HIPAA compliant video conference platform.

Is online speech therapy effective?

Research has shown that online speech therapy is just as effective as in-person speech therapy. Some research has shown greater effectiveness due to active parent participation during the sessions. The professional credentialing association for speech-language pathologists, ASHA, has recognized teletherapy as a valid means of service delivery based on strong evidence.

What are the benefits of online speech therapy?

Online speech therapy keeps you and your family safe and healthy. Additionally, each therapy session will take place at the comfort of your home which may cost less than in-person visits. You will always meet with a qualified and experienced speech-language pathologist.

My child gets distracted easily, will they be able to attend to the session?

We are trained to successfully implement many strategies during online sessions that translates into both personal and academic success. We recognize that each child has their own unique set of strengths and needs which we are able to accommodate.

Do you provide services for adults?

Yes, we specialize in treating neurological conditions as well as elective services.

Do I need to be present for my child’s therapy sessions?

For children 0-3 years of age, a caregiver needs to be present in order to engage in parent mediated intervention. For children 3-6, parents are encouraged to participate during sessions in order to learn skills and incorporate them daily. Usually children 7+ attend the sessions independently, parents are informed on progress.

Do you accept insurance?

We are currently private pay only, we do not accept insurance. We do provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. For financial assistance, please review our Financial Assistance Program.

How will I be charged for my sessions?

We are a Fee-For-Service provider. No subscriptions and no surprise charges.
